Our good friends Dean and Cindy came up to see the house last week and volunteered some labor (we have very good friends).
The coolest thing about an old house project is that there are so many things to do that if you don’t feel like doing one type of thing, just turn in a different direction and there are other things to do.
This weekend we got a BUNCH done. Carey and Cindy attacked the yard with gusto and did a fantastic job mowing and cleaning up. They also got rid of a bunch of junk that has been cluttering up the place. (there’s a lot of that sort of thing to do).
Dean and I finished caulking the dormer (which I had primered the morning before), and then, most importantly, we attacked the electric wiring for the dining room. As you can see from the teaser picture below…it was in serious need of attack…

A big shout of thanks to our friends.
